Buy a Chair for the Lodge!

Brothers, we are supporting a long-term fund raiser for your Lodge. It will accomplish two things; Improve the look of the Lodge with new furniture for the sidelines and front hall room AND put some much needed funds in the treasury. We are purchasing beautiful new 'College' Chairs made right here in Massachusetts of hard wood. Each chair is black lacquer with cherry arms and backs. On the back we have laser etched the Square & Compasses along with 'Old Colony Lodge, A.F. & A.M.' above and 'Hingham, Ma.' below. There are currently four chairs in the Lodge (Thank you Bro. Bruce and Wor. Dave) for you to look at. Here's how it works; decide what you'd like engraved on the brass plate that is attached to the back of the chair (Your name? A Past Masters? A Brother who has gone to the Celestial Lodge above? Whatever you want!) The chair will then be placed in the Lodge or front hall in perpetuity. Cost is $500, of which $325 is the cost of the chair and $175 goes to the general fund of the Lodge. If you'd like a chair for your home, it is $300 (no brass plate), but we ask that you first donate one to the Lodge. Adult and children rockers are also available so watch this spot for details.
